About the Role

This is a day-shift position overseeing end-to-end production on a key manufacturing line. You’ll be responsible for leading the daily operation, ensuring output, quality and safety standards are met, and supporting continuous improvement as the site grows.

It’s a hands‑on supervisory role where your leadership on the floor, ability to troubleshoot, and drive for consistency will make a real impact.

Location: Western Suburbs, Melbourne
Shift: 5.00 am – 2.00 pm

Responsibilities

- Lead, coach and mentor production staff during day shift operations.
- Coordinate daily schedules, labour allocation and production run performance.
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety, quality and allergen‑control procedures.
- Ensure compliance with site WHS standards and drive a secure working culture.
- Oversee documentation,



batch records and reporting requirements.
- Identify and support opportunities for process improvement and waste reduction.
- Champion communication on the floor and foster a positive team environment.

What They’re Looking For

- Third level degree qualification – demonstrating capability, analytical thinking and a growth mindset.
- Experience as a Production Supervisor or Senior Operator in FMCG, food, beverage, meat, or similar manufacturing.
- Strong Continuous Improvement background – data‑driven decision making.
- Strong people leadership – confident, approachable, and able to set clear expectations.
- Hands‑on mindset with a willingness to be out on the floor.
- Familiarity with HACCP, GMP and food‑safety systems.
- Organised, proactive and capable of managing a busy, fast‑paced operation.
- Someone who thrives in a growing business where you can influence processes and culture.
