HELP TELL THE STORIES THAT MATTER ACROSS CENTRAL QUEENSLAND
This is more than a media role.
As Senior Media Officer, you will play a key role in protecting and enhancing the reputation of Central Queensland Health while sharing the stories that showcase the impact of our people, services and communities.
Reporting to the Communication and Engagement Manager, Office of the Chief Executive, you will work closely with the Chief Executive, Executive Leadership Team and senior stakeholders to deliver strategic media management, reputation advice and high-quality communications across one of Queensland's largest regional health services.
Supporting more than 230,000 Central Queenslanders, this role offers the chance to work on some of the organisation's most significant announcements, achievements and challenges.

- Lead proactive and reactive media engagement.
- Identify and develop compelling stories from across our health service.
- Provide strategic media advice to senior leaders.
- Support the management of complex and high-profile issues.
- Contribute to crisis and reputation management activities.
- Help strengthen public confidence in the health services we provide.

- Deliver media and communication outcomes that support organisational objectives and strengthen community confidence.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $153,514 p.a. is comprised of:
- An hourly rate between $63.34 - $67.85 p.h.
- 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
- 17.5% leave loading
