We are currently seeking a Senior Planning Specialist to join our team. This is a two-year maximum term full time position. Your work location is Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, working a 21/14 FIFO Roster from any Australian capital city.

Reporting to the Planning and Reliability Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing senior technical planning leadership within the Operational Readiness team, directing and quality-assuring the master data build in Pronto for all recent assets commissioned under the Current Simberi Gold Project.

The opportunity

- Providing technical guidance on master data development and processes to ensure consistent, high-quality data.
- Developing Master Data Planner capability through technical training, mentoring and Computerised Maintenance Management System Pronto support.
- Reviewing and approving upload sheets as the final quality gate before pronto loading.
- Ensuring PMs requiring parts have complete Bills of Materials to support day -one kitting.
- Delivering complete master data sets for each asset – plant details, PMs, Bills of Material, stock items and monitor points – and monitor Master Data Planner progress and performance against it.




- Integrating condition monitoring data into new asset PM strategies to support condition-based maintenance.
- Collaborating with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Procurement to translate Asset Management Plans into actionable Pronto PMs.
- Ensuring PM activities meet safety, environmental and regulatory requirements and support accurate reporting.
- Managing equipment information, uploading sheet signoff and filing, including removal of redundant equipment and spare parts from Pronto.

- Trade or Engineering qualification in a relevant field.
- Extensive experience in master data building / management in Pronto Computerised Maintenance Management System.
- Understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling maturity concepts.
- Experience providing technical leadership to a small team, including supporting and managing team performance.
- Strong ability to work effectively within a team and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, including communicating with people from different backgrounds and cultures.
- Travel to site as required.
