About the Job

We’re on the lookout for a curious and motivated Finance Officer to join our small but mighty Finance team at O.C. Tanner Asia Pacific. If you're a recent graduate or just starting out in your finance journey, this is your chance to dive into the world of transactional finance in a supportive, close‑knit team that values learning, collaboration, and growth.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our day‑to‑day financial operations running smoothly, while gaining exposure to a dynamic global SaaS business. You’ll be hands‑on with all things Accounts Payable and real opportunities to grow your skills across APAC and beyond.

If you're ready to learn the ropes, contribute meaningfully, and be part of a company that celebrates outstanding work—this could be the perfect fit.

What You’ll do

- Accounts Payable functions including:

processing supplier invoices accurately; ensuring payment terms are adhered to; reconciling supplier accounts; and completing all AP monthly closing activities within the month‑end schedule.
- Assist in reconciling daily debtor receipts with counterparts in Salt Lake City.
- Own the entire AR function for one global client.
- Investigating, processing and posting entries in the bank statement to general ledger, and completing monthly bank reconciliations.
- Reconciling, processing and paying employee expenses.
- Processing all Australian and Singapore supplier invoices in a timely manner.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly BAS returns, and the annual FBT return as required.
- Completing all monthly closing activities in accordance with deadlines.
- Reviewing AP and AR procedures and developing and implementing enhancements where appropriate.

What you’ll bring

- Ideally prior experience in AP or general finance with a solid knowledge of workflow in the accounts function. We are also open to Finance graduates with no prior experience, but exceptional attention to detail and a desire to learn.
- Highly accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and verbal and written communication skills.
- A love of collaboration and being a team player.
- A working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.

What’s on offer?

- Hybrid working arrangements.

Monday to Wednesday in our CBD office and Thursday and Friday working from home if you would like to.
- Company‑wide and individual bonuses (like an annual Birthday Bonus to treat yourself!).
- An extra week of Bonus Annual Leave per financial year.
- Health and Wellbeing Program including access to Personify Health.
- Free and confidential counselling through our Employee Assistance Program.
- Generous Parental Leave policy.
- Professional development opportunities, including access to LinkedIn Learning.
- A warm culture of recognition and celebration. We use what we deliver to our clients because we believe in our solutions and products. Every employee is a participant in the Appreciate Great program.

Why Join Us?

- Purpose‑driven work that makes a real difference in people’s lives.
- Supportive culture that values growth, creativity, and collaboration.
- Opportunities to learn from industry leaders and grow your career.
- Global impact with a local feel—you’ll be part of something big, but never feel like a number.

At O.C. Tanner, we’re proud to be an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a workplace that values and celebrates diversity. We don’t just welcome differences—we embrace them, support them, and see them as essential to our success. Our goal is to build a team rich in diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills, and to cultivate an environment where everyone feels they belong. We know that the more inclusive we are, the stronger and more impactful our work will be.
