SKL Technology is currently searching for a motivated SAP Applications Manager to join our growing client within their ICT Services Division.

The role involves leading and delivering Level 2 production support for critical SAP business applications. You will work closely with internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to resolve complex incidents, manage change and release activities, and ensure the stability, performance, and compliance of SAP application environments in a regulated setting.

Length: 5 months (with possible extensions)

Citizenship: Australian citizenship is essential.

WFH: Hybrid working setting

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and provide Level 2 production support for SAP business applications, including incident and request management.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve complex system and application issues, including priority and critical incidents.
- Apply ITIL best-practice methodologies for incident, problem, change, and service request management.
- Mentor and support junior team members, providing guidance on technical and operational issues.
- Validate and analyse business problems to distinguish between system defects and business rule issues.
- Coordinate and manage engagement with external production support and shared services teams.
- Facilitate change and release activities, including UAT/BVT coordination, CAB participation, and stakeholder communications.




- Perform data analysis and reporting using Microsoft Excel to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Undertake service ownership activities, including reporting, audit responses, and major incident management.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical users and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in SAP application management, including incident, change, and production support across complex SAP environments.
- Strong experience working in regulated or government environments, with an understanding of compliance, governance, data protection, and reporting.
- Demonstrated capability in stakeholder and vendor management, working effectively across business and ICT teams.
- Experience leading or coordinating application support teams, including workload management, mentoring, and continuous improvement.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for ICT and business application incidents.
- Hands‑on experience using IT Service Management tools and applying ITIL methodologies.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with SAP CRM, SAP Payment System (PSCD), or SAP participant/provider portals.
- Experience managing complex SAP data models and environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility-focused design and inclusive digital practices.
- Exposure to human services or large-scale enterprise SAP environments.
