Our client a leading commercial business operating across the Infrastructure, energy, resources, transport, defence and building and construction sectors is seeking a legal counsel to join it’s growing legal team.

Reporting to the Legal Director, this role will involve:

- Providing strategic commercial and legal advice on major infrastructure projects across a number of sectors including transport,renewables and resources
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating contracts
- Drafting precedent suites of commercial agreements relevant to the infrastructure market
- Providing advice on contractual dispute resolution procedures

Key Requirements:

- Ideally a minimum of 4 years PQE gained either from a renowned private practice or In-house organisation
- Experience in advising on complex transactions, with exposure to project delivery issues
- In-depth understanding of construction law and contracts
- Experience with commercial policies and identifying key risks within contracts
- Proven ability to manage competing deadlines
- A pro-active and commercial approach to projects and work loads.
