Assist in the provision of care to patients, supporting and being supervised by a registered nurse. Assist patients with all activities of daily living. - To assist with patient care needs under the supervision of a trained nurse
- Carry out nursing duties as assigned by trained staf
- To work with the nursing staff to deliver individualised nursing care.
- To report to a trained nurse care given to patients.
- Assist patients with their dietary needs as directed by a trained nurse.
- Participate in the admission and discharge of patients in conjunction with the multi-professional team as directed by a trained nurse.
- Escort patients to other areas of the hospital
