The Role

Toorak College is seeking an outstanding educational leader to become the Associate Principal.

Reporting directly to the Principal and serving as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Associate Principal will work in close partnership with the Principal to drive the strategic direction, innovation and performance of the School.

This significant executive leadership position provides oversight across educational strategy, wellbeing, co‑curricular programs, student life, risk and compliance, while championing a culture of continuous improvement, evidence‑based decision making and future‑focused learning.

The successful candidate will lead whole‑school initiatives that enhance student outcomes, staff capability and organisational performance, ensuring every student is supported to flourish academically, socially and personally throughout their K–12 journey.

The Opportunity (Overview)

As Associate Principal, you will:

- Lead the development and implementation of the College's educational strategy across K–12
- Drive innovation in teaching, learning, data analytics and emerging technologies, including AI
- Champion continuous improvement and evidence‑informed decision making
- Lead the College's whole‑school wellbeing and personal growth strategy
- Provide executive oversight of co‑curricular programs, student life and major student experiences
- Lead risk, compliance and governance frameworks across the School

You Are

- An accomplished educational leader with significant executive or senior leadership experience
- A strategic thinker who combines vision, innovation and operational excellence
- Passionate about educational improvement and future‑focused learning
- Skilled in leading organisational change and building high‑performing teams
- Experienced in using data to drive decision making and improve student outcomes
- A highly relational leader who builds trust, engagement and collaboration
- Committed to child safety, wellbeing and inclusive educational practice
- Energised by the opportunity to contribute to a progressive and innovative school community.

Start Date: Term 1 2027, or earlier by negotiation
