Duty Supervisor - Central Specimen Reception

- Demonstrated experience in a Pathology Specimen Reception area with a sound understanding of all procedures.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the capacity to lead, motivate and manage conflict whilst contributing to building a team focused on providing high quality customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to consult, negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of people
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet set deadlines whilst ensuring the laboratory meets best practice.
- Experience working within an environment requiring sensitivity and consideration in relation to confidentiality and privacy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.

Willingness and ability to participate in a 24/7 rotating shift roster, including weekends, public holidays, night shifts, and oncall as required.
