MACHINE OPERATOR - FOOD PRODUCTION - TAREN POINT

Labourpower is currently recruiting for 10 experienced machine operators to join a National Food Manufacturing plant in Taren Point. This is an ongoing opportunity working in a quick-paced food production environment. The role will involve operating and monitoring production machinery, along with packaging and generally production duties.

AVAILABLE SHIFTS

Afternoon: 3:30pm - 11:30pm

Night: 11:30pm-7:30pm

To be successful for this role you will need:

- Previous machine operating experience, preferably within manufacturing or food production
- Food manufacturing experience preferred, but not essential
- Experience in production and fast-paced physical environments
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good understanding of workplace safety and quality requirements
- Excellent reliability and punctuality

Your duties will include but will not be limited to:

- Operating and monitoring food production machinery
- Monitoring machines to ensure they are running efficiently and report any faults
- Operating production equipment and following production specifications
- Packing finished products accurately into cartons
- Fast-paced packaging and labelling
- Completing production paperwork as required
- Following food safety, GMP and workplace safety procedures
- Maintain a clean and organised production area
- Working as part of a team while also being able to work autonomously
