Reporting to the HSEQ Manager, this role plays a critical part in supporting the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems across the business.

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and proactiveHSEQ Advisorto join our team based in Erskine Park, NSW.
What you'll Do
You will be instrumental in driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and ISO standards, and supporting operational excellence across multiple sites. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated qualified who is passionate about safety, quality outcomes, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and maintain HSEQ systems in line with legislative and ISO requirements (ISO 9001,
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, ensuring timely close-out of corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations and monitor outcomes to reduce incidents and non-conformances
- Promote a proactive safety culture through coaching, engagement, and daily site interactions
- Coordinate and deliver inductions, training, and compliance activities across the workforce
- Monitor compliance registers (e.g., action registers, calibration, injury and risk registers)
- Prepare HSEQ reports and maintain accurate records and documentation
- Liaise with site supervisors, management, and clients regarding HSEQ matters
- Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO and NHVAS requirements
- Ensure all site documentation (SWMS,
inductions, compliance records) is current and properly maintained
- Stay up to date with legislative changes and industry best practices
What We're Looking for
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSEQ role
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health and Safety (or equivalent)
- Robust knowledge of HSEQ legislation and ISO standards
- Experience within construction, transport, or mining environments (desirable)
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills
- High attention to detail with strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple sites
- Experience with audits, incident investigations (e.g., ICAM), and HSEQ systems (desirable)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance systems
- A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to safety, continuous improvement and team success
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical
