About the position
Due to an internal promotion, we are currentlyseekinganexperiencedAircraft Maintenance Engineertojoin ourBroadmeadow basedteam.Reporting to the Senior Base Engineerand operating within a CASR approved Part145 organisation,thisrole will be required to carry out maintenance, repair, overhaul, modification, assembly and/or testing on the aircraft fleet in a secure and efficient manner and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities of the role include:
- Assistthe maintenance teamwith maintenance activities including majoraircraftinspections,repairsand overhaulsin accordance withapproved company,manufacturerand airworthiness authority manuals.
- Assistthe maintenance team toconduct hybrid trouble shooting,address recurrent technical problemsand ensure all maintenanceand defect rectification is carried out to the relevant design and quality standards.
- Complete documentation inan accurateandtimelymannerin accordance withcompany requirements.
- Communicate effectively with key stakeholders through a commitment to the Service’s values of compassion, unity,accountabilityand integrity,whilstdemonstratingand promotinga positive and proactive attitude toward safety,qualityand environmental standardsat all times.
Aboutyou
To be considered for thisrole, you will have:
- Aircraft Engineer TradeQualification, with minimum of 2years experience
- Demonstrated experience working on AW139aircraftand/or EMS experience (desirable)
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- IT literate with the ability to effectively utilise Aviation, Safety and MS Office Software
- Strong focus on safety and quality with attention to detail
- Behaviour, culture, and attitude that aligns with Company values
- Proven experience working in an EMS / SAR environment will be highly regarded
