CANOLE CABINETRY PTY LTD Carpenter – Full time Position We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will undertake carpentry, fabrication, assembly and installation work associated with custom timber products, built-in cabinetry, timber fixtures and interior fit-out components, ensuring high-quality workmanship and compliance with project specifications.

Task & Responsibilities

- Manufacture and install custom timber products and fit-out components.
- Interpret plans and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication and installation.
- Deliver high-quality carpentry workmanship across custom timber, cabinetry and interior fit-out projects.
- Ensure all work complies with project requirements, quality standards and workplace safety procedures.
- Support the successful completion of residential and commercial fit-out projects.

Key Tasks

- Study and interpret architectural drawings, construction plans, specifications and site measurements to determine materials, dimensions, construction methods and installation requirements.
- Select, measure and prepare timber, laminates and other materials for fabrication and installation.

Set out and construct timber components, frames, supports, backing structures and fixing systems required for custom cabinetry and interior fit-out projects.

- Cut, shape and assemble timber and engineered wood products using hand and power tools.
- Construct and assemble kitchens, wardrobes, vanities, shelving systems, built-in furniture and other custom timber fixtures.
- Cut and prepare timber joints, components and assemblies to required specifications.
- Install cabinetry, wardrobes,



shelving systems and other built-in timber fixtures at client premises.
- Construct and install timber supports, fixing systems and backing structures required for joinery installations.
- Fit and adjust doors, panels, mouldings, trims, hardware and decorative timber components.
- Repair, modify and replace existing timber fittings and joinery components as required.
- Work with timber, laminates, MDF, plywood, metals and other materials used in cabinetry and joinery projects.
- Check finished carpentry and installation work for dimensions, level, alignment, fit, stability, functionality and quality of finish, and carry out adjustments as required.

Coordinate with supervisors, builders, clients and other trades to resolve site conditions and ensure the timely completion of carpentry and fit-out works. Qualification & experience

- Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Carpenter.
- Proven experience in carpentry, including the manufacture, assembly and installation of timber fixtures, cabinetry, joinery and fit-out components
- Demonstrated ability to work with timber, laminates, MDF, plywood and other materials used in carpentry and joinery projects.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and installation plans.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, quality workmanship and a commitment to delivering projects to a high standard.
