About the opportunity
General Gynaecology Clinics at Mercy Hospital for Women provide a wide range of services to patients requiring gynaecology care across general gynaecology, reproductive medicine, complex endosurgery, menopause management, acute and chronic pain.
Summary of the role
- Provide effective and efficient organisation, coordination and procedural support to the gynaecology clinics.
- Ensuring timely and appropriate processing of referrals into relevant clinics in alignment with the Specialist Clinic Access Policy.
- Proactively manage the clinic sessions to ensure adequate appointment availability and clinic utilisation.

- Registration with AHPRA – Registered Nurse Division 1
- Experience in Gynaecology is highly preferred
- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.
- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.
- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a cooperative team environment.
Required evidence
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
