Springfield Lakes Towing and Transport Pty Ltd – Darra QLD

Queensland Heavy Transport is seeking experienced MC & HC Drivers / Tilt Tray Operators to join our growing team. This is a full-time position. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating and managing articulated vehicles and tilt tray equipment, transporting goods across Queensland whilst maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism and customer service. This position is critical to our operations, as our drivers are the face of our company and directly impact customer satisfaction and business success.

Key responsibilities

- Operate MC (Multi-Combination) and HC (Heavy Combination) vehicles safely and efficiently in compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies
- Operate and manage tilt tray equipment to load, secure and transport vehicles and heavy goods
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues or defects immediately
- Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements
- Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery documentation and records in accordance with transport regulations
- Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch and management regarding job progress and any issues
- Adhere strictly to weight limits, road regulations, fatigue management laws and company safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times
- Perform manual handling and securing of cargo safely and appropriately

What we're looking for

- Valid MC or HC driver's licence (Australian) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating articulated vehicles and tilt tray equipment in a commercial transport setting




- Current National Heavy Vehicle Driving Fatigue Logbook compliance and knowledge of relevant road transport legislation
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety checks, load securing requirements and weight distribution principles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience in the towing or heavy transport industry is highly valued
