Base pay range

A$90.00/hr - A$107.00/hr

Location: Brisbane, QLD
Contract duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
Flexibility: Hybrid work available

Our Client:
A major Queensland Government ICT service provider delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions across public sector organisations.

The Role:
As a Senior IT Support Consultant in the Microsoft Services Team, you will provide expert system support and guidance for a wide range of clients. You'll work collaboratively with technical and business teams to deliver enterprise-level solutions and continuous service improvement.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver advanced system admin support in Microsoft environments aligned to SLAs
- Lead or contribute to architecture, design, and technical solution proposals
- Onboard customers and research new tech for enhanced service delivery
- Engage in pre-sales activities, solution demos, PoCs, and evaluations
- Identify infrastructure risks and develop improvement strategies




- Participate in on-call or after-hours support rotations

Skills & Experience:

- Expert-level Windows Server/Desktop administration in enterprise environments
- Solid experience with VMWare and virtualised server management
- Proficient in scripting and automation using PowerShell or VBScript
- Solid knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft MECM, MSI/MSIX, and OS deployment
- Familiarity with application control tools such as Windows Defender Application Control
- Flexible working arrangements
