Your role
You will be part of the Funds, Superannuation & Financial Services Team (FSF) and work with lawyers across all of our offices. Working closely with Partners and the wider team, you will gain exposure to the most complex and interesting superannuation and financial services regulatory and advisory work in the market. At Allens, our structure means you’ll get exposure to a number of different Partners within your practice group and a wide variety of work. We encourage our lawyers to find their niche and specialise in areas they are interested in while building a strong foundation across their field.
As a superannuation and financial services specialist within our FSF team, your role will include a wide variety of work for some of Australia’s most prominent industry, retail and public sector superannuation funds, including:
- Advising many of Australia’s leading superannuation funds on major regulatory change projects;
- Assisting superannuation and other financial services clients on their response to a wide variety of regulatory investigations and prosecutions, including significant APRA and ASIC proceedings;
- Advising on large complex superannuation fund mergers;
- Advising superannuation and other financial services clients in relation to their broader regulatory needs, including superannuation and investment regulatory requirements and the licensing, disclosure and compliance requirements of the Australian financial services regime.
This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity. Flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or other arrangements, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.
