Alimentari Smith Street is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team.

We're a busy Smith Street institution, known for great food, quality produce, warm service and a lively atmosphere. We're looking for someone who genuinely loves hospitality, enjoys being around people and knows how to bring out the best in a team.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is confident running a busy service, takes pride in the details and enjoys creating a excellent experience for both guests and staff.

THE ROLE

You'll be at the heart of the day-to-day operation, working closely with our owners, kitchen and front-of-house team to keep things running smoothly.

You'll be responsible for:

- Leading, motivating and developing the FOH team
- Running busy breakfast and lunch services
- Maintaining high standards of service and presentation
- Managing rosters, staffing and labour costs
- Recruiting, training and mentoring team members
- Working closely with the kitchen and owners
- Managing customer feedback and ensuring guests leave happy
- Overseeing POS, reservations and daily operational requirements
- Ensuring food safety,



liquor licensing and workplace safety standards are met

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone who:

- Has previous Restaurant Manager or senior hospitality management experience
- Is a natural leader who leads from the front
- Is organized, energetic and confident under pressure
- Genuinely cares about great food and great service
- Enjoys building a strong, positive team culture
- Has excellent communication and people skills
- Is comfortable with POS and reservation systems
- Is available to work weekends and public holidays

Most importantly, you'll enjoy hospitality and take pride in creating a great place to work and a great place for guests to visit.
