Be among the first 25 applicants. A well-established global company is searching for a Payroll Officer to join their team. This role will be working as part of an established payroll team using iChris.
As a key member of the Finance department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for the employees.
Responsibilities
- End‑to‑end payroll processing on a fortnightly payroll
- Entering recent starters through to payment and terminations
- Calculating superannuation, leave entitlements, and award interpretation
- Review of the Time & Attendance Data feed
- Leave calculations including parental, long service, annual, sick, and workers' compensation
- Reconciliation of superannuation and payroll tax
- Assisting with payroll queries and inquiries as required
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in payroll processing
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation and regulations
- Proficiency in Chris 21 or iChris
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
