We’re looking for an organised and people-focused Team Leader, Educational Delivery Support (AO3) to lead a team that provides high-quality administration and coordination across TAFE Queensland SkillsTech.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Acacia Ridge.

Your team helps keep vocational training running smoothly by making sure student records, timetables, results and room bookings are accurate and up to date. You’ll provide clear direction, support staff development and work closely with educational delivery teams and other stakeholders to resolve issues and improve services.

This position reports to the Operational Supervisor, Educational Delivery Support and works closely with the broader EDS team and educational delivery teams.

What you’ll be doing

- Lead the day-to-day work of the EDS team, including rostering, allocating work and setting clear priorities.
- Support, coach and develop team members so they can provide consistent, helpful and timely service.
- Monitor workload, service standards and team performance, and help address issues as they arise.
- Make sure student records, participation information, results, grade conversions and other training administration records are accurate and complete.
- Use student management systems, scheduling systems and other software to check information, prepare reports and support sound decisions.
- Provide clear, timely advice to internal teams, students, clients and other stakeholders about EDS services and processes.
- Support compliance with relevant vocational education and training requirements, policies and procedures.
- Help maintain work instructions, correspondence, team inboxes and other day-to-day administration activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation and ways of working across the EDS team.

What we’re looking for

- Experience providing day-to-day guidance, support and coordination to colleagues in a busy administration, customer service or operational environment.
- Strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise work, manage changing demands and follow tasks through.
- Confidence using computer systems, databases and Microsoft Office programs to enter, check, extract and report on information.




- Good attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and following required processes.
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with a range of people.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to learn and apply vocational education and training requirements, including compliance obligations.
- A team-focused leadership style that supports a respectful, high-performing workplace.

How you will be assessed

Supporting team capability and day-to-day coordination

- Ability to provide guidance and support to colleagues, help coordinate day-to-day work, share knowledge and contribute to a capable, high-performing team.

Vocational education and training administration and compliance

- Sound knowledge, or the ability to quickly gain knowledge, of the legislation, policies and procedures relevant to vocational education and training, including AVETMISS and ASQA requirements.

Communication and stakeholder relationships

- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, develop rapport and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Systems and data

- Ability to use computer systems and applications relevant to EDS work, and to extract, check and compile accurate information, reports and correspondence.

Organisation and problem solving

- Ability to prioritise work, respond to changing circumstances, identify issues and take practical steps to achieve positive outcomes.
