About the role
We're seeking an experiencedHeavy Lift Supervisorto join our team on a contract basis inPerth, WA. This is a strategic role that will be responsible for coordinating complex heavy lifting operations to support ourconstruction projects. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding ofplant and machinery operationsand a proven track record in delivering secure and efficient heavy lift activities.
What you'll be doing
1. Develop and implement detailed lift plans for heavy machinery and equipment
2. Coordinate with site teams, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure all heavy lift activities are executed safely and efficiently
3. Monitor and oversee heavy lift operations, troubleshooting issues as they arise
4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards
5. Provide training and guidance to site personnel on proper heavy lift procedures
6.
Maintain accurate records and documentation for all heavy lift activities
What we're looking for
1. Minimum 5 years' experience as aHeavy Lift Coordinatoror similar role in theconstruction industry
2. Thorough knowledge ofplant and machinery operations, including cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, lift plans, and technical specifications
4. Strong problem-solving and decision‑making skills to address issues on site
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
6. Certification in rigger, crane operator, and/or other relevant plant operator roles
