Job Description

Swissôtel Sydney is seeking a passionate and driven Learning & Development Officer to join our People & Culture team. This role plays a key part in supporting the learning journey of our Heartists®, ensuring our teams are equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Accor and Swissôtel brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate, deliver, and support learning and development programs across all hotel departments
- Facilitate hotel induction programmes and mandatory compliance training




- Support leadership development initiatives and internal talent development programmes
- Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and support performance development
- Partner with managers to design and deliver effective departmental induction and on‑the‑job training programmes.
- Promote a strong learning culture that aligns with Swissôtel’s values and service excellence

Qualifications

About you:

- A genuine passion for learning, development, and people growth
- Previous experience in Learning & Development or a similar role (hospitality experience highly regarded)
- Strong facilitation and presentation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
- Confident using learning management systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment

Additional Information

This is a Part Time role, based on site in our People & Culture office, working 3 days per week (days are negotiable between Monday to Friday).
