Job Summary

Provide leadership for the end-to-end Supply Chain Management function, driving operational excellence, process maturity, and sustainable business performance across planning, procurement, warehousing, yard operations and logistics.

Responsibilities

- Develop and execute SCM strategy, aligning planning, procurement, warehousing, logistics, and operational activities with business priorities, operational requirements, and customer expectations.
- Develop and drive end-to-end supply strategies, oversee material and production planning, and optimize inventory.
- Lead procurement and sourcing activities, ensuring effective supplier management, contract compliance, cost optimisation, risk mitigation, and continuity of supply.
- Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to drive value, performance, innovation and alignment with business objectives.
- Lead warehouse and yard operations through governance, process discipline, standard work, and operational excellence, with clear oversight of inventory control performance rather than day‑to‑day inventory administration.
- Build team capability through coaching, mentoring, training, feedback, and performance management to strengthen leadership depth and technical capability within the function.
- Partner closely with business leaders and key stakeholders to understand strategic and operational requirements, influence decision‑making, and ensure supply chain strategies support business growth and customer outcomes.
- Establish, monitor, and improve key business metrics, including planning and procurement performance, supplier delivery, service levels, productivity, on‑time shipment performance and operational effectiveness, with oversight of inventory performance and issue escalation as required.
- Lead process governance, controls, and exception management across procurement, warehouse, logistics and supply chain activities, ensuring issues are escalated, analysed, and resolved through structured problem solving.
- Plan and optimise planning, procurement, logistics, warehouse, and yard resources, capacity and workflows in alignment with service group objectives,



operational demand and business priorities.
- Ensure workplace health, safety, environmental and compliance requirements are met, and maintain responsibility for the safe storage, movement and security of materials, equipment and inventory in partnership with operational leaders.
- Review, redesign and continuously improve end‑to‑end supply chain processes to increase productivity, improve process maturity, reduce waste and establish standardised ways of working.
- Drive continuous improvement through 6S, Lean methodologies, root‑cause analysis and structured problem solving to strengthen process maturity and operational performance.
- Lead organisational change initiatives within the supply chain function, embedding continuous improvement practices, developing future leaders and building a high‑performance culture.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position provides direct leadership to planning, procurement, logistics, inventory and warehouse teams.

Qualifications

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, operations management or related discipline.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressive supply chain, warehouse, logistics or operations leadership experience, including at least five (5) years in a management role with strategic and cross‑functional accountability.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments supporting oil & gas or industrial products.
- Experience in MRP with general knowledge of MRP/ERP systems preferably Oracle Fusion. Proven experience leading teams through change, building capability and coaching leaders and employees to achieve stronger business outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders, influence without authority, and operate effectively in a cross‑cultural environment.
- Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability and decision‑making skills, with a proven track record in complex operations, warehouse, logistics or LEAN environments.




- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to influence senior stakeholders, align cross‑functional teams, and communicate clear operational priorities.
- Robust capability in MS Office and ERP systems, ideally Oracle Fusion, with the ability to use data and reporting to support decision‑making.
- Highly organised, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities within a fast‑paced and evolving supply chain environment.
- Excellent negotiating, contract management, communication and organisational skills.

Desired:

- Gas & Oil industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with international standards and surety organisations (ISO, DNV, ABS, USCG).
- Professional certification from APICS and/or ISM is desirable.
