About the Role
As anEnrolled Nurse, you’ll play an important role in providing safe, high-quality and efficient nursing care to patients presenting with urgent, non-life-threatening conditions.
Working closely with Registered Nurses and the broader clinical team, you’ll provide hands-on clinical care while supporting the smooth operation of the centre and delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality, patient-centred nursing care within your scope of practice.
- Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses and other healthcare professionals to assess and care for patients presenting with injuries and illnesses.
- Conduct patient history assessments and support appropriate patient guidance and inclusion/exclusion assessments.
- Administer medications and provide clinical care in accordance with policies, procedures and your scope of practice.
- Provide wound care, plastering and assistance with clinical procedures.
- Educate patients to support their recovery and ongoing care.
- Maintain accurate, timely and comprehensive clinical documentation.
- Support a welcoming,
organised and efficient clinical environment, including stock management and daily centre operations.
- Assist with administrative processes, including Medicare billing, accurate coding and patient registration.
- Welcome patients, assist with appointments and maintain accurate patient information.
- Maintain professional standards and comply with ForHealth policies, procedures and clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to workplace health and safety by reporting hazards and incidents and participating in safety initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- CurrentAHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Flexibility and availability to workevenings and weekends.
- Relevant clinical experience meeting one of the following requirements:
- 3+ years’ experienceas a Primary Care/General Practice Nurse; or
- 2+ years’ experiencein an Emergency Department or similar setting; or
- 3+ years’ experiencein Medical/Surgical, Orthopaedics or another comparable acute care environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage escalations.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- A genuine commitment to patient-centred care and a warm, personable approach.
You will also be required to provide aWorking with Children Check,National Police Checkif not already obtained, and anInternational Police Checkwhere relevant.
