About the role
An opportunity exists for an Investment Analyst to join ICAM's Distribution team, working closely with the Head of Distribution to support the management of investor relationships and the ongoing growth of the business. This is an excellent chance for a Graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career within funds management, private wealth or business development. The initial focus of the role will be on providing high-quality support to the Head of Distribution, allowing them to spend more time meeting with investors and clients. You will take ownership of investor onboarding, KYC and AML processes, client communications, documentation and reporting, while progressively developing your knowledge across the broader distribution function.
Your key responsibilities will include
- Manage investor onboarding, including KYC/AML checks, documentation and liaison with the external unit registry provider.
- Respond to investor and client enquiries and coordinate statements, reports and other communications.
- Assist with quarterly investor reporting, presentations, investment summaries and other investor-facing materials.
- Support capital raising activities, investor meetings, events and broader business development initiatives.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and contribute to the implementation of a new CRM system and other business projects.
To be successful in this role, you will bring
- 1-2 years' experience in funds management, financial services, private wealth, property, professional services or a similar environment. Exceptional graduates will also be considered.
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Property or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the maturity and confidence to communicate professionally with investors and senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisation and analytical skills, particularly when working with investor documentation and financial information.
- A proactive, responsive and accountable approach, with the ability to work autonomously, take ownership and raise issues early when required.
