Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead with a strong background in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps practices, particularly with Java 11. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical teams, driving CI/CD initiatives, and ensuring the reliability and performance of our applications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership capabilities to guide a team of engineers in delivering high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers in the design, development, and deployment of applications using Java 11.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of applications through effective monitoring and incident management.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall technical strategy.




- Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks faced by the team.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

Mandatory Skills

- Proficient in Java 11 with a strong understanding of object oriented programming principles.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Solid understanding of DevOps practices and tools, including containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience in implementing monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
- Robust problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation tasks.
- Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in SRE and DevOps practices.
