Savic Motorcycles

You love motorcycles. You ride, you talk about bikes, you notice what someone else is riding at the lights, and you genuinely enjoy meeting other riders. You hold a full, unrestricted Australian motorcycle licence.
You’re a natural people-person. You can charm someone, have a laugh, make them feel comfortable and get them excited, while knowing when to switch gears and be polished and skilled.
You bring good energy. You’re positive, enthusiastic and the kind of person people enjoy having around. Our team is awesome and we love good vibes.
You are proactive by default. You don’t sit around waiting to be told what to do. If there’s a customer to follow up, an opportunity worth chasing or an idea that could generate a sale, you’re already moving.
You spot opportunities other people miss. Someone mentions they know a group of riders? You’re thinking about an introduction. A prospect hasn’t replied? You’re thinking about the next way to engage them. There’s a motorcycle event happening nearby? You want Savic there.
You’re tech-savvy. CRMs, digital tools, automations, spreadsheets and new platforms don’t intimidate you. You learn systems quickly and actually keep them updated.
You follow through. If you tell a customer you’ll call them Tuesday, you call them Tuesday. People don’t need to chase you.
You want to work somewhere that is growing and evolving. Not everything will already have a process, template or perfectly documented system, and that excites you - we want you to help us build our brand.
Do you feel seen? Keep reading.
What is the job?
You’ll be one of the people introducing riders to Savic Motorcycles, an Australian motorcycle company designing and building high-performance electric motorcycles in Melbourne.
And this isn’t a job where you sit in a showroom waiting for someone to walk through the door.
You’ll own relationships from the first spark of interest through to the moment a customer takes delivery of their motorcycle.
One day you might be calling someone who has just enquired about a C-Series. The next you could be taking a prospective customer through the bike in the showroom, hosting a test ride, following up a warm lead, building a new referral opportunity or travelling interstate with the team for a Savic event.
You’ll work across inbound sales, outbound business development and customer experience, with one simple goal: Get more people riding Savic motorcycles, and make the experience of getting there freaking awesome.
What will you actually do?
Along with our other Sales Consultant, and the team leader - you will own your opportunities in the sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to signed contract and motorcycle delivery.
Speak with prospective customers every day: by phone, email, message, video call and face-to-face (so you must like to yap).
Qualify leads, understand what matters to them and help them decide whether a Savic is the right bike for them.
Proactively follow up prospects.
Identify new sales opportunities through referrals, rider communities, events, partnerships and your own ideas.
Host showroom appointments, motorcycle consultations and test rides.
Represent Savic at test ride days, motorcycle events and brand activations across Australia.
Build genuine relationships with customers: this is high-value consultative selling, not transactional retail.
Keep our CRM immaculate: customer notes, next actions, activity and pipeline stages should always be current.
Keep customers waiting for their motorcycle informed and excited with clear, timely updates.
Work closely with Marketing, sharing what customers are saying, what objections you’re hearing and which campaigns are generating real opportunities.
Bring ideas. If you think there’s a better way to follow up leads, run an event, create referrals or improve the customer journey, we want to hear it.
Track your performance, understand your conversion numbers and take ownership of hitting monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Picture yourself here...
It’s Friday morning and you’re hosting a Savic test ride.
You’re talking bikes with a rider who has followed the company for three years but has never actually ridden one.
Twenty minutes later they pull back in grinning.
You grab a coffee, talk through the bike, answer their questions, understand what they’re looking for and organise the next step.
On Monday, you follow them up, and later that week, they place their order.
A few months down the track, you’re there when they collect their motorcycle.
That entire relationship is yours.
And hopefully, they tell every rider they know about the experience.
Why is this a great job?
Because what we’re doing is unexpected. Savic has spent a decade developing an Australian-designed electric motorcycle, and we’re now taking that product to more riders around the country.
You’ll be selling something people genuinely want to stop and talk about.
You’ll work alongside people who care deeply about motorcycles, engineering, design and building something Australia hasn’t really built before.
You’ll also have the freedom that comes with joining a growing company:
Have an idea for a sales activation? Pitch it.
Think we should be at an event? Tell us.
See an opportunity with a riding group, collector, partner or customer community? Go after it.
Think a process is broken? Help us build a better one.
We don’t want someone who needs every day mapped out for them.
We want someone who wants to help build what comes next.
You’ll also get to:
Work around motorcycles every day.
Ride and deeply understand the product you’re selling.
Meet an enormous variety of riders and customers.
Travel interstate for Savic events and test ride programmes.
Work alongside our Melbourne team building motorcycles locally.
Have a genuine influence on how our sales function evolves as Savic grows.
What you'll need
Full, unrestricted Australian motorcycle licence (essential). Our bikes are not LAMS approved, so you need a full licence to ride one.
A genuine love of motorcycles and motorcycle culture.
2+ years’ sales experience, ideally in consultative or high-value sales.
Experience selling automotive, motorcycles, EVs, premium products, technology or lifestyle brands is a bonus.
A track record of turning conversations and leads into customers.
Strong communication skills: verbal and written.
Confidence speaking with everyone from hardcore riders to first-time EV buyers.
Strong digital literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Experience with a CRM such as Odoo, HubSpot, Salesforce or similar.
Excellent follow-up discipline and organisation.
Comfortable working towards sales and revenue targets.
Comfortable travelling interstate approximately once a month for events when required.
How you'll know you're crushing it?
You’ll know your numbers and take ownership of improving them. Things like lead-to-prospect conversion, sales revenue, new opportunities generated.
But numbers aren’t the whole story., we also want customers walking away saying: “That was one of the best sales experiences I’ve had.”
