We are looking for a Project Engineer with 5+ years’ construction experience to join our team and support the successful delivery of multi-unit residential projects from planning through to completion.
Working closely with the Project Manager, Management Team, subcontractors and site personnel, you will be responsible for coordinating the technical, contractual and project delivery aspects of your projects.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinating project activities to achieve time, cost, quality and safety outcomes.
Supporting contract administration, including variations, quotations, pricing and project documentation.
Coordinating technical information, drawings, specifications and design requirements and identifying issues to prevent rework.
Managing and coordinating subcontractors on technical, quality and contractual matters.
Providing technical support to Project Managers, Supervisors, subcontractors and site teams including attending project and client meetings.
Coordinating suppliers, contractors and vendors to ensure project requirements and deadlines are met.
Preparing and reviewing risk assessments and SWMS, conducting site inspections and ensuring compliance with HSEQ requirements.
Maintaining accurate project and technical documentation in accordance with document control requirements.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a proactive and organised Project Engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced construction environment and has a strong understanding of project delivery.
We are looking for:
Experience in multi-unit residential construction or similar construction environment.
Strong understanding of construction processes, technical documentation and project coordination.
Experience working with subcontractors,
consultants, suppliers and clients.
A collaborative team player with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
A strong commitment to safety, quality and compliance.
What You’ll Bring
Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering, Building and Construction Management or a related discipline
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
