Sales Consultant - Blackburn Showroom

FHR is partnering with a highly regarded, long-established family business to find an experienced Sales Consultant for its premium Blackburn showroom.

For more than 75 years, this business has specialised in quality home heating and cooking solutions, helping customers create spaces that become the heart of their home.

Working from a boutique showroom, you'll guide customers through a premium range of fireplaces, wood and gas heaters, electric and ethanol fires, designer cookers, pizza ovens and barbeques.

This isn't about high-pressure sales. It's about understanding what the customer is trying to achieve, providing knowledgeable advice and building genuine, long-term relationships.

You'll also work closely with architects, designers, builders and other industry professionals across a range of residential projects.

Importantly, we're looking for someone who sees this as a long-term career opportunity, not simply their next job. The business has built its reputation over many years through strong relationships with customers and industry professionals, so we're looking for someone who wants to become part of the team, build their product knowledge and grow with the business over the years ahead.

What You'll Be Doing

- Building strong relationships with customers through genuine service and advice
- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable heating and cooking solutions




- Managing customer enquiries from initial consultation through to sale
- Developing ongoing relationships with architects, designers and building industry professionals
- Preparing sales documentation and invoices
- Maintaining accurate customer information through CRM systems
- Providing a high standard of after-sales service
- Representing a premium showroom and product range professionally

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dealing with people, takes pride in delivering great customer service and wants to build a long-term career with an established business.

You'll ideally bring:

- Previous sales and customer service experience
- A genuine interest in home interiors, design or architecture
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Professional presentation and a customer-focused approach
- Good attention to detail
- Confidence using computer systems, including CRM and invoicing platforms
- Reliability, enthusiasm and the ability to work as part of a small team
- A stable approach and genuine interest in becoming a long-term member of the team
- Availability to work Saturdays

Experience within home improvement, interiors, furniture, appliances, kitchens, building products or a similar showroom setting would be highly regarded, but isn't essential for the right person.
