Role: Cybersecurity Analyst

Location: Sydney, NSW

Employment Type: Permanent

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst with a strong focus on Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) to manage Business As Usual (BAU) tasks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in cybersecurity, specifically in Zscaler Web Security, and will be responsible for handling incidents, whitelisting URLs, onboarding new applications, and supporting app connector patching and updates.

Responsibilities

- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to Zscaler ZIA and ZPA.
- Manage the whitelisting of URLs to ensure secure access to necessary resources.
- Assist in the onboarding of new applications into the Zscaler environment.
- Support patching and updates for app connectors to maintain security compliance.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Zscaler solutions.
- Document processes and procedures related to Zscaler operations.




- Provide training and support to team members on Zscaler functionalities.
- Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and Zscaler product updates.

Mandatory Skills

- Proven experience with Zscaler Web Security.
- Strong understanding of Zscaler ZIA and ZPA functionalities.
- Experience in incident management and response.
- Knowledge of URL whitelisting processes.
- Familiarity with application onboarding procedures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

- Certifications in Zscaler ZIA/ZPA
- Experience with other security technologies and frameworks.
- Robust analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on Zscaler solutions.
- Proven track record of managing BAU tasks in a cybersecurity environment.
