Occupational Therapist - Grade 3 (NDIS Lead)
- Salary:Grade 3 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging
About the role:
Western Health is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 3 Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our occupational therapy team, on a permanent, full-time basis.
This NDIS Lead role provides clinical expertise and leadership to support timely care to NDIS participants admitted to Western Health’s Sunshine, Footscray and Williamstown Hospitals.
This position works closely with acute and subacute Grade 3 OT Clinicians, the Grade 3 Social Work NDIS Lead, and is supported by the Grade 4 Sub-Acute OT.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting clinical staff to navigate the NDIS pathway and complete necessary documentation
- Liaising regularly with the social work NDIS lead and the NDIS Health Liaison Officer
- Communicating with the MDT and providing clinical guidance and expertise
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Delivering high-quality clinical care
About you:
- Demonstrate commitment to provision of occupation-based client centred occupational therapy practice
- Have extensive knowledge and experience in NDIS discharge planning and documentation
- Have strong collaboration, communication and time management skills
- Have experience working in multidisciplinary teamsand with multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrate consolidated clinical leadership and teaching skills
