An established and growing financial services business specialising in financial planning and mortgage broking is expanding its presence across North Sydney. The business provides clients with an integrated approach to their financial needs, with a strong focus on residential and investment lending. With an established brand, experienced team and strong back-office resources, the business is now looking to build out its mortgage broking offering in North Sydney. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help establish a local network, develop new relationships and build a strong client base with the support of an established business.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing North Sydney office as a Mortgage Broker, working within a professional and client-focused team. You'll be responsible for sourcing and managing clients, understanding their lending requirements and providing tailored loan solutions to help them achieve their financial and property goals. With dedicated loan processing support, you'll be able to focus on building relationships, generating recent business and delivering an exceptional client experience. The role offers flexible working arrangements, with a combination of office-based and work-from-home flexibility.

Responsibilities

- Meet with clients to assess their financial circumstances, borrowing needs and property investment goals
- Research and present tailored lending solutions while meeting Best Interests Duty (BID) and compliance requirements
- Guide clients through the loan application process and ensure an outstanding customer experience
- Build and nurture client relationships to generate referrals and repeat business




- Develop and maintain relationships with Financial Advisers and external referral partners
- Proactively communicate with referral partners throughout the lending process
- Stay up to date with mortgage industry trends, products, lender policies and regulations
- Contribute to the growth and development of the North Sydney lending business

Qualifications

- Minimum 2+ years' experience as a Mortgage Broker with a proven track record of delivering positive client outcomes
- Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking (minimum requirement)

- Robust understanding of the Australian mortgage and finance market, including loan products and lender policies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple clients and applications efficiently
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team environment
- Results-driven mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to build rapport and develop long-term client relationships
- Sound understanding of compliance, privacy and responsible lending obligations
