Commercial Property Valuers | Valuer to Director

A large national property valuation and advisory business is establishing a new Toowoomba operation and is looking for commercial property valuers from experienced Valuer through to Director level. This office is being launched because the work already exists, not in the hope that it arrives. The operation is backed by extensive existing contracts and committed workflow across residential and commercial valuations. The initial foundation team is expected to include approximately six valuers. You will be joining while the team, market coverage and local structure are still being shaped, but with the revenue, clients, technology and national infrastructure already behind you.

Key responsibilities

- Take ownership of immediate commercial workflow across a defined market patch, supported by experienced leaders and a broader national commercial network
- Manage key clients and develop a broader fee portfolio




- Mentor other valuers and take on a central role in growing the Toowoomba commercial business
- Lead the commercial platform, recruit and develop the foundation team, influence market and client strategy and drive the long-term growth of the operation

About you

- Relevant API & CPV accreditation and current or eligible Queensland registration
- Commercial property valuation experience
- Strong technical standards and qualified judgement
- The ability to develop trusted client relationships
- Commercial awareness and confidence managing your own portfolio
- The ambition to help build a meaningful regional business
- Knowledge of Toowoomba, the Darling Downs or regional Queensland will be highly regarded
- Leadership experience is not required for every appointment
