Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced leader who is passionate about improving outcomes for Aboriginal people in the capacity of Team Leader Care Services.





This role undertakes the daily operations for our Care Services programs based at our Swan Hill Office and includes Home Based Care, Foster Care, Cultural Support Programs and Better Futures, First Supports and Aboriginal Lead Decision Making.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate the daily operations of the Care Support Programs.
- Provide support, supervision and mentoring to Caseworkers.
- Support Program planning, development, management and improvement.
- Quality improvement, compliance and reporting.
- Liaise and develop positive relationships with DFFH, DOJ and other community services and organisations.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

- Demonstrated leadership experience within community services or ACCHO environments.
- Understanding and knowledge of the issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Effective organisation and prioritisation skills to have oversight over all program areas and different funding bodies.
- Proven ability to establish and effectively manage collaborative relationships with community, government and external stakeholders.
- Relevant qualification in community services, management, or a related discipline.

Other Requirements

- Current National Police Check.
- Current Employee Working with Children Check
- Current Driver's Licence
