About the role
In this maximum‑term contract role, reporting to the Head of Enterprise Risk, you will support the uplift of the Fund’s Risk Taxonomy and Risk Appetite as a key feature of our Group Risk Transformation Program. Working across Line 1 and Line 2, you will partner closely with multiple business units to deliver:
- Advice on changes to processes and policies, as well as any potential downstream impacts
- Drafted documents to support these changes
- Meaningful insights to drive appropriate communications and change planning
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven experience in Risk & Compliance, within a financial services setting
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience presenting to and working with stakeholders at the Executive and Board level – a valued distinction
- Experience using a GRC tool (we use Archer, but others would also be helpful)
Experience in the superannuation industry would be well regarded, as would exposure to a large‑scale transformation program. Key to your success will be your ability to draw on your expertise to provide meaningful insights to ensure this program delivers the best possible outcomes for our Members and our Fund.

This is a 14 month, maximum‑term contract position based in Melbourne. At Cbus we work on a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of 60% of your time in office.
