The Company

A renowned SA food manufacturing business with a strong reputation for internal recognition of their people and excellent training is rapidly growing. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Team Leader, Leading Hand or Supervisor looking to take the next step in their career, with structured training and support provided.

Your Role

As a hands-on Team Leader, you'll support and lead the production team on the factory floor, ensuring products are produced safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards. Duties include:

- Leading, motivating and supporting the production team
- Scheduling orders for production and ensuring raw materials used are accurate and in line with customer and industry expectations
- Monitoring team performance and providing coaching and feedback
- Maintaining a positive, protected and collaborative team culture
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Working closely with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering teams




- Managing competing priorities in a fast-paced production environment

About You

You might be a future leader in Food Production or an existing Team Leader, but most importantly you enjoy working with people and know how to motivate a team to achieve results. You'll also demonstrate:

- Food manufacturing, GMP, HACCP or food safety knowledge is advantageous, but not essential
- Previous experience leading, coordinating or supervising a production team
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork

This is a full-time, on-site position. The organisation pays above industry standard and over time, and structured training and development. You'll have the opportunity to build a long-term career within the food manufacturing industry while working alongside experienced Production, Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse and Engineering teams.
