About The Role

Randstad HR Partners is seeking an Industrial Relations Business Partner who specialises in ER and IR especially compliance. This role is responsible for executing the established Industrial Relations strategy within a fast‑paced, multi‑site FMCG/Retail environment. This role focuses on improving existing processes and practices, verifying supporting technologies, and using risk methodology to ensure compliance and mitigate IR‑related risks.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide expert, day‑to‑day ER/IR advice to key stakeholders, including Line Managers, HR Managers, and HR Business Partners.
- Advise on, participate in, or lead enterprise agreement negotiations and dispute settlement processes.
- Manage end‑to‑end claim processes (Fair Work, AHRC), including drafting submissions and providing advocacy in workplace tribunals.
- Oversee and advise on all workplace investigations, ensuring due process and compliance.
- Monitor IR compliance programs and provide written advice on industrial relations strategy, ensuring adherence to regulatory and Fair Work Commission requirements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, external employer associations, government bodies, regulators, and union representatives.




- Deliver educational and development activities for Managers and HR teams on ER/IR matters.

Essential Experience

- Demonstrated high‑level experience as an ER/IR practitioner in a large, complex organisation.
- Extensive experience in employee relations and industrial relations.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in HR/IR or equivalent industry experience in a similar role.
