Shape Windows + Doors is a small family business operating Maitland, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley areas.
We specialise in Residential, Architectural & Commercial Windows & Doors. We pride ourselves on quality workmanship and great customer service.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of hands-on experiencemanufacturing premium aluminium window and door systems for residential and commercial projects.

Knowledge of fabricating Architectural Window Systems preferred, but not essential.

Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, tools and materials used in aluminium fabrication and glazing.

Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and technical plans.

High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-end finished products.

Excellent problem-solving, time management and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and respond quickly on the floor.

Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and take direction.

Comfortable in a fast-paced, agile environment where priorities can shift and everyone contributes as needed.

Strong commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.





Current and valid driver’s licence.

Positive attitude, reliable work ethic and a willingness to learn and contribute.

As a fabricator at Shape Windows + Doors, you will:

Fabricate, assemble and prepare aluminium window and door systems according to detailed shop drawings and specifications.

Operate machinery, hand tools and other equipment safely and efficiently.

Work closely with the Production Manager and follow instructions to ensure workflow remains smooth and on schedule.

Perform quality control checks throughout the process to maintain Shape Windows + Doors high standards.

Assist with packing, loading and organising products for delivery and installation.

Maintain a clean, safe and well‑organised work area.

Follow WHS procedures and contribute to a robust safety culture.

Site deliveries and occasionally assist with installations if required.
