Production Manager

At Signaction, we do far more than make signs. Alongside creative signage and graphics, we design, manufacture and install bespoke displays and custom joinery for some of the world's leading retail and commercial brands. Every project is a puzzle, a prototype and a chance to build something remarkable.

We are seeking a motivated and organised Production Manager to guide the resources of our highly skilled production team and support our Projects Team to deliver outstanding work on time and within budget.

This role suits someone who sees problems before they appear, who communicates clearly, and who enjoys keeping many moving parts humming in rhythm.

Key Requirements

- Experience in Signage, Display, Shopfitting, Exhibition or Event industries

- Experience in low-volume, job-shop or project-based manufacturing environments

- Proven ability to manage high-value projects from planning to delivery

- Reliable, motivated, and comfortable working under pressure with changing priorities

- Ability to work autonomously while coordinating multiple projects at once

- Solid relationship-building skills with internal teams,



contractors and suppliers

- Excellent time management, attention to detail and a solid work ethic

- Confident verbal and written communication skills

- Computer literacy

- Hands-on technical ability combined with strategic leadership

- Track record of motivating and positively influencing team members

- Current drivers licence

- Australian work rights required for this position

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain and oversee the production schedule for approved projects

- Ensure projects meet budget, timeline and milestone requirements

- Lead, supervise and mentor production team members, including trainees

- Manage and coordinate seasonal in-house contractors

- Collaborate with Creative and Technical Departments to bring concepts to life

- Develop and refine procedures that improve efficiency and quality

- Ensure all production paperwork is completed accurately and on time

- Liaise with Project Managers regarding schedules, deliveries and onsite needs

- Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and company WHS policies
