Courtyard by Marriott Brisbane South Bank is looking for a Business Development Manager to join our team on a Full time basis.

What we’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

- Develop exciting new business opportunities whilst consistently achieving sales targets
- Establish requirements, quotes and negotiate prices for new clients
- Seamlessly seal the deal, contracting new business
- Participate in tradeshows,



conventions and promotional events
- Maintain accounts, contacts, activity and business details
- Be the face of The Courtyard Brisbane South Bank
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by the General Manager.

Your experience and skills include:

- Minimum 2 years experience in Hotel Sales role, with strong exposure to Group, Conference & Events Sales as well as broad understanding of other segments
- Relevant and recent sales experience in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne
- Motivated and driven to succeed
- Able to work independently and remotely
- Highly responsible and reliable, being able to achieve tasks efficiently, accurately and promptly
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Outstanding personal presentation and style
