Support Worker – Cambridge (CB4) - PUR-018-073

I am a 36-year-old lady living with my parents in Cambridge. I

am severely autistic with a severe speech disorder and small

hearing loss. I have a medical condition, hydrocephalus.

I will need some help with personal care but mainly a friend who

can do activities in the home to occupy me.

I live in a fully equipped home with lots of resources.

I only want a small number of hours initially with possibilities to

increase in the future as I struggle with making new social

contacts.

Hours and

rate of Pay

Up to 10 hours per week

£17 per hour

Enhanced DBS clearance is essential

What you

would be

You will be helping with personal care and daily routines such

as, cooking, sewing, crafting, shopping, doing puzzles, looking

at children’s books, watching children’s DVDs with me and listening to my audio tapes. We would also, in time, like you to be able in time to get involved in preparing projects and
