Salary: $97,000 pro rata + 12% Super

Early Learning Association Australia (ELAA) is a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting early childhood education and care services across Victoria. We work collaboratively with members, government and sector partners to ensure excellence and equity for children, families and communities.

We are seeking a passionate and service-focused Advisor – Member Solutions (Policy & Reform) to join our Member Solutions team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting early childhood providers as they navigate workforce, governance, compliance and major sector reforms, including the Victorian Government's Best Start, Best Life initiatives.

About the chance

Reporting to the Manager, Member Solutions, you will provide high-quality advice and practical support to ELAA members across a broad range of areas including:

- Human resources and industrial relations
- Best Start, Best Life reform implementation
- Regulatory and compliance requirements
- Payroll, wages and employee entitlements
- Governance and operational matters

You will contribute to the management of a varied portfolio of member enquiries, translate complex requirements into clear guidance and help members respond confidently to operational, workforce and reform challenges.

Key responsibilities

In this position,



you will:

- Provide advisory support by phone, email and scheduled consultation.
- Manage, prioritise and document member enquiries and casework.
- Escalate complex or high-risk matters appropriately.
- Support members to implement Best Start, Best Life reforms.
- Assist with workforce planning and reform readiness.
- Gather member feedback on emerging challenges and sector issues.
- Develop resources, templates, FAQs, webinars and presentations.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and use enquiry data to identify trends and service improvements.
- Build productive relationships with members, stakeholders and partner organisations.

About you

You will bring practical experience advising or supporting people across one or more of the following areas:

- Human resources or industrial relations
- Payroll and employee entitlements
- Governance or regulatory compliance
- Early childhood education and care
- Centre management, service management or operational leadership
- A membership, professional services or advisory environment

You will also demonstrate:

- Experience and/or interest in reading and interpreting awards, enterprise agreements or wage-related provisions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.




- The ability to explain complex information in clear, accessible language.
- Sound judgement and confidence managing competing priorities.
- Strong organisation, case management and record-keeping skills.
- A curious, practical and member-focused approach.
- A commitment to child safety and wellbeing.

Experience in early childhood education and care or a membership-based organisation will be highly regarded. Relevant qualifications in business, HR, industrial relations, education or a related discipline are desirable but not essential.

Additional requirements

The successful applicant will require:

- A current Working with Children Check
- A National Police Check
- Full working rights in Australia
- Capacity to undertake occasional travel

Remuneration: $108,640 TRP
