Cairns Regional Council has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join the Lifestyle and Community Directorate in the newly created position of Team Leader Business Improvement!

What You Will Do:

As the Team Leader Business Improvement, you will lead a small team in delivering continuous business improvement initiatives by driving service excellence, cost efficiencies and ensuring contractual compliance and operational standards are upheld across all Lifestyle and Community departments and services.

What We Are Looking For:

- Tertiary qualification and/or relevant professional qualifications in Business Management, Change Management, Business Analysis or Project Management related discipline.
- A continuous improvement mindset and commitment to initiating proactive change through business improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic focus.




- Excellent written communication skills including polished report writing skills.
- Proven ability to develop, coach and lead high performing teams.
