The Opportunity

Now, we’re looking for a passionate and strategic People Services Manager to help us build the kind of workplace that makes this impact possible.

As our People Services Manager, you’ll lead a small, dedicated team to deliver the full spectrum of people services—from recruitment and onboarding to performance, development, and compliance. You’ll be a trusted advisor to senior leaders, a mentor to your team, and a champion of our values-driven, inclusive culture.

This is more than a HR role—it’s an opportunity to shape the future of a purpose-led organisation and ensure our people feel safe, supported, and inspired to do their best work.

Key Responsibility Areas

- Driving strategic people initiatives aligned with Family Life’s mission and values
- Leading and mentoring a high-performing People Services team
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, performance, and development programs
- Managing employee relations and ensuring compliance with employment legislation
- Leading the implementation of a new HRIS and modernising HR operations
- Fostering a culture of wellbeing, recognition, and continuous improvement

- Proven experience in a senior HR generalist role
- Strong knowledge of employment law and industrial relations
- A team-oriented leadership style and a passion for developing others
- Strategic thinking with hands-on operational capability
