Female Disability Support Worker - Part-Time

We are looking for a female Disability Support Worker to provide personal care and support to a participant who uses a wheelchair full-time.

Tuesday: 2 hours

Friday: 8 hours

Potential for additional hours in the future

About the role:

The successful applicant will be required to assist with:

- Manual handling and secure transfers
- Showering and personal hygiene
- Changing continence aids/nappies
- Feeding and mealtime assistance
- Getting dressed and other personal care tasks
- General daily living support
- Ensuring the participant's comfort, dignity and safety

About you:

- Female support worker preferred
- Previous disability support experience
- Must be confident and experienced with manual handling
- Experience supporting someone who is fully wheelchair-dependent
- Comfortable providing personal care, including showering and continence care
- Patient, caring, reliable and respectful
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant checks/certificates preferred
- First Aid/CPR preferred
- This role would suit someone who is compassionate, dependable and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
