We’re looking for a Producer who can turn ideas into delivered outcomes and thrive in the space between creative ambition and operational control.

This role manages production across Defiant Studios’ in‑house creative, studio, and campaign workstreams, coordinating shoots, talent, budgets, and schedules to ensure every project is delivered on time, on brand, and within scope.

You’ll work alongside the Creative Director and COO to bring creative briefs to life from small, fast‑turn social deliverables to larger multi‑day studio productions.

This role suits a producer who’s detail‑driven, process‑minded, and passionate about craft, teamwork, and velocity.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee end‑to‑end production for studio, social, and campaign projects.
- Manage schedules, call sheets, and production calendars across multiple workstreams.
- Coordinate crew, talent, locations, permits, catering, and logistics for all shoots.
- Ensure smooth collaboration between creative, studio, and post‑production teams.
- Track deadlines and proactively problem‑solve bottlenecks before they become issues.

Budgeting & Resourcing

- Build and manage production budgets with accuracy and foresight.
- Source and negotiate external suppliers, freelancers, and crew as required.
- Track project costs, POs, and reconciliations in coordination with accounts.
- Ensure each project aligns with margin and profitability goals.

Creative Servicing





- Receive and interpret client briefs with clarity, identifying scope, deliverables, and production needs.
- Develop timelines, treatments, and resourcing plans that balance creative ambition with operational realities.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to align creative outputs to strategic goals.
- Coordinate with the Studio Creative on shoot preparation, bookings, and equipment availability via Cheqroom and studio calendar.

Studio & Workflow Operations

- Manage the daily flow of projects through the studio, ensuring utilisation and scheduling efficiency.
- Support the setup and wrap of studio shoots where required, maintaining visibility over production quality.
- Maintain Defiant’s internal project documentation and ensure version control across deliverables.
- Liaise with post‑production for file delivery, client feedback, and final asset release.

Culture & Collaboration

- Champion proactive communication between creative, accounts, and strategy.
- Help build systems that streamline creative delivery and protect production quality.
- Support the growth of junior team members through process clarity and mentoring.
- Represent Defiant’s culture on set calm, capable, and craft‑led.

About You





You’re the kind of producer who can juggle ten moving parts without dropping one. You thrive in controlled chaos, love seeing projects through from concept to completion, and understand both creative nuance and logistical rigor.

Must‑Have Skills & Experience

- 3+ years experience in creative or production environments (agency, studio, or content).
- Proven ability to manage video and photo productions end‑to‑end.
- Experience in budgeting, scheduling, and crew management.
- Strong understanding of production tools (Cheqroom, Frame.io, Airtable/ClickUp, or similar).
- Excellent communication, time management, and client service skills.
- Current driver’s licence (vehicle access preferred).

Nice to Have

- Background in content or performance marketing.
- Experience managing post‑production and asset delivery.
- Familiarity with studio lighting, camera systems, or creative workflows.
- Comfort working across multiple short‑deadline deliverables simultaneously.
