The Role

- ✅ Monitor and report on WHS process compliance
- ✅ Manage the WHS management system, policy, and workers' compensation
- ✅ Provide advice and support to stores, warehouses, and support locations on WHS and regulatory matters
- ✅ Develop and implement the WHS strategic and operational plan
- ✅ Maintain safety management manuals, registers, and systems
- ✅ Perform thorough investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses
- ✅ Design, organise, and deliver training materials on health and safety practices
- ✅ Analyse WHS data, report on trends, and provide recommendations
- ✅ Negotiate premiums with relevant insurers

Some key responsibilities also include

- ✅ Conducting Risk Assessments: Identifying hazards and controlling risks in the workplace
- ✅ Developing Safety Policies: Creating and implementing health and safety procedures
- ✅ Providing Training: Educating employees on WHS procedures and emergency protocols
- ✅ Investigating Incidents: Looking into workplace accidents and incidents

Qualifications and Experience

- ? Extensive knowledge of WHS legislation, regulations, codes, and standards
- ? Demonstrated WHS experience in a high-risk and operational environment
- ? Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- ?️ Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
- ?️ Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form
- ? Experience in retail/warehousing (preferred)




- ✈️ Exposure to an airport environment (highly regarded)
- ?️ Ability to travel occasionally to sites across Australia and New Zealand
