Authorised Prescriber – Medicinal Cannabis (GP / Psychiatrist)

- Up to $220ph
- From 15 - 40 hours (adaptable, including after hours and extended hours opportunities)
- Must be PG3 +
- Current AHPRA registration required

WHO WE ARE

Our client is a rapid growing start up sitting at the intersection of two exciting industries: cannabis and digital health. They're building a patient first platform that makes it easier for practitioners to deliver compassionate, evidence based care to patients seeking natural alternatives, and easier for patients to access it.

THE ROLE

We're looking for an Authorised Prescriber of medicinal cannabis, a General Practitioner, Psychiatrist or other healthcare professional already established in this space, to join our client's growing network. You'll consult with patients via telehealth, on your own terms, from wherever you're based in Australia.

This is a product agnostic environment, so you'll prescribe with your patients' needs in mind, always, with access to continually updated research and clinical resources to support your practice. You'll also have the flexibility to build your caseload around your existing commitments, whether that's a private practice, hospital work or other clinical roles.





You'll work across an all in one platform for streamlined appointment and patient management, freeing you up to focus on the clinical side rather than admin. It's a genuinely collaborative team environment, with real opportunities for input as the business scales into new markets and service lines.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Conduct telehealth consultations with patients managing conditions who are interested in natural alternatives
- Manage patient treatment plans, maintaining clear notes and medical records
- Prescribe medicinal cannabis and other natural alternative medicines
- Expand your existing patient base with support from the platform
- Contribute clinical insight to help shape best practice as the company grows

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

- Current AHPRA registration and existing Authorised Prescriber status for medicinal cannabis
- Demonstrated experience prescribing medicinal cannabis
- Independent Medical Insurance Policy
- A suitable, professional space to consult
- Exceptional patient focused approach and compassionate communication skills
- A team player, collaborative and engaged in this growing field
- Based in Australia
