Senior Data Architect - 6 Month Contract

Sydney - Hybrid

$1100-1300 per day

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Data Architect with deep Snowflake experience to join their team on a 6-month contract. You’ll help shape enterprise-wide data architecture strategies and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions using Snowflake as the core platform.

What You'll Be Doing

- Designing and implementing enterprise data architecture with a strong focus on Snowflake
- Leading the development of scalable data models, pipelines, and data governance frameworks
- Working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to align architecture with organisational goals
- Providing architectural oversight across Snowflake integrations, security, and performance optimisation
- Contributing to long-term data strategy and cloud transformation initiatives

What we're looking for:

- Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Data Architect
- Proven hands-on expertise with Snowflake, including architecture, design, and optimisation
- Strong understanding of cloud ecosystems (preferably AWS or Azure)
- Background in data modelling, warehousing, governance, and integration patterns
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
