PFX Group is a leading Australian chemicals manufacturer. At our Lytton head-office facility we're lifting our operating standards — sharper planning, stronger safety, and real discipline around how we run every shift. The Plant Supervisor is central to making that happen.
About the Role
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you'll lead the day shift across our Lytton plant — a Dangerous Goods and flammable-chemicals site operating four work centers (Coolants, Water Based, Industrial Fills and Small Pack Fills). You'll set the pace for the shift: safe, ready, on-schedule and well-run, while coaching a front-line team to deliver.
What you'll do
- Lead start-of-shift readiness — early handover, KPI boards live, team briefed and ready to go.
- Deliver the daily production schedule across four work centers, planning labour, materials and equipment ahead of time.
- Champion safety in a Dangerous Goods and flammable-chemicals environment.
- Coordinate operators and agency labour, with backup plans for key roles.
- Own data accuracy (Manufacturing Orders) and drive housekeeping and site standards.
What you'll bring
- 3–5 years' experience in a similar supervisory role in industrial manufacturing.
- Proven front-line leadership and a solid, visible commitment to safety.
- Solid planning, organisation and production-data discipline.
- Reliability for an early-start day shift (onsite by 5:45am).
What's on offer
- Permanent, full-time day shift — your afternoons and evenings are your own.
- Competitive salary plus superannuation.
- Training and licences provided (forklift, first aid).
- A genuine career pathway toward Plant Manager as we grow our operations.
